Blood pressure measuring waterfordPractice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as healthy living advice, blood pressure checks, dressings, and blood investigations. The practice nurses run clinics for travel health and vaccines, long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor injury assessment and some carry out cervical smears.

Vaccinations are carried out by the practice nurses – travel, flu, pnemumococcal and childhood vaccines (Tuesday and Thursdays mornings only for childhood vaccinations)
Nurses also carry out audiometry(hearing tests), 24 hour Blood pressure monitoring, ECGs.
Nurse routine visits can be walk- in but for childhood vaccines, travel vaccines, smears, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring and hearing tests PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
